Catalpa – Indian Bean Tree – Purple – Bare Root

A medium sized tree with a lovely spreading habit, perfect as a shade tree for medium to larger gardens.Foliage starts out blackish-purple in spring and matures to a deep green. This is followed by creamy white, trumpet shaped flowers with a purple and yellow markings. Pods form after flowering.

Plant in full sun in acidic soil. Prefers a warm temperate climate.
