A unique plant with linear, succulent leaves and an upright stem that becomes woody with age giving it a resemblance to a small pine tree or a coral. It produces small, star shaped, white flowers in spring and into summer.
It is a great addition to a succulent, waterwise or coastal garden as it is hardy and interesting. It also does well in a pot, either on its own or in a mixed succulent planting.
It should be grown in full shade to part sun in well drained soils.
