A tough plant growing to 1m tall and 1m wide with spiked, woody stems and leathery green leaves. Through winter, spring and summer it produces lovely pink flowers.

It makes a lovely potted specimen thanks to its sculptural growth and bright flowers. They can also be grown in waterwise, coastal and succulent gardens.

It should be grown in full sun to part shade in well drained soils.
