Grewia – Lavender Star – Romantic Plants

Grewia is a beautiful evergreen shrub or small tree.

Position:Full sun to part shade. Moist well drained soils. Will also grow in a pot.

Flower:The stunning lavender-purple star flowers bloom during spring and summer are followed by brown berries. The flowers are very attractive to bird and insect life, especially butterflies.

Size:It is fast growing to 1.5 – 2m with oval shaped leaves.

Uses:Feature shrub or small tree in a garden bed.
