A neat, rounded evergreen shrub with glossy, dark green leaves that in sunnier positions are tinged with a hint of red. In Winter and Spring this shrub is completely covered with masses of star shaped, pink flowers tinged with white. This delightful shrub makes an excellent informal hedge and is ideal for formal gardens, mixed shrubberies, coastal areas and general garden planting.
Thrives in a wide range of soils and positions. Is tolerant of poor, dry soils, salt spray and shade. Grows best in full sun and well drained soil. ‘Oriental Pink’ is a smaller plant growing to only 1m x 1m making it great for pots as well as garden use.
